About this tradition
Institutional ceremony commemorating the conquest of the city by Jaume I on 31 December 1229. Ceremony at the Seu cathedral with the authorities of the Consell de Mallorca and Palma City Hall. It closes the year in the Mallorcan capital with a glance back to its roots.
