About this tradition
Sencelles's summer festival, in the most agricultural part of the Pla, with verbenes in the square and popular events over a long week at the end of June.
History & origin
Sencelles was an Andalusi farmstead and kept a structure of small scattered settlements: Biniali, Ruberts, Jornets, Cascanar. Sant Pere has presided over the parish since the 13th century.
How it is celebrated
Verbenes, correfoc, children's games and the patron's processó. The hamlets of the district — Biniali, Ruberts — also hold their own smaller celebrations.

Associated gastronomy
