An authentic spot
The largest wetland in the Balearic Islands: 1,700 hectares of reed beds, canals and lagoons where over 230 bird species have been recorded. UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and a key birdwatching destination in the western Mediterranean.
💡 Before you go
Free entry. Reception centre open every day. Bring binoculars and comfortable shoes. Best visited early morning before the heat builds.
🚗 How to get there
Main entrance on the ALC-1 road between Alcúdia and Can Picafort. Free parking. Regular bus service Alcúdia–Artà with a nearby stop.
