An authentic spot
Salt pans in production since Roman times that turn pink and mauve each summer. Flamingos, black-tailed godwits and plovers frequent the shores. The l'Avall route follows the coastline all the way to Cap de Ses Salines.
💡 Before you go
Free access via the l'Avall track from Colònia de Sant Jordi. Flamingos mainly October to May. Bring binoculars.
🚗 How to get there
From Colònia de Sant Jordi on foot (4 km) or from Sa Ràpita. No public transport.
