About this tradition
Every second Sunday of May, Sóller re-enacts the victory over the corsair Otxalí on 11 May 1561. Moors and Christians fight on the beach of en Repic and in the town square, led by Capità Angelats and the Valentes Dones de Can Tamany (the Casesnoves sisters).
